Ebley is a part of Gloucestershire, England that was once a village and is now a neighbourhood within the Stroud urban area. Located in the River Frome valley, it is approximately 2 miles from the centre of Stroud and falls under the jurisdiction of the civil parish of Cainscross. Ebley used to be part of the Stonehouse parish but became part of Cainscross in 1894. Ebley Mill, a former wool mill built in 1818, is now a Grade II* listed building and serves as the office of the Stroud District Council. Ebley Chapel, which belongs to the Countess of Huntingdon’s Connexion, is also a listed building as a Grade II structure.

From 1903 to 1964, Ebley Crossing Halt was a railway station on the Golden Valley Line, a railway line that runs between Swindon and Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa in England. The line was originally built in the 1840s as the Cheltenham and Great Western Union Railway and was opened between Swindon and Kemble, with a branch line to Cirencester, in 1841. The remainder of the line, including the Sapperton tunnel, was completed four years later. The Golden Valley Line branches off from the Great Western Main Line at Swindon and passes through the Sapperton tunnel and the Golden Valley before reaching Stroud. It then joins the main line between Bristol Temple Meads and Birmingham New Street at Standish Junction, just north of Stonehouse.

The use of technology combined with a human touch creates a safe environment for customers and employees by providing a balance of security and convenience. For example, implementing security cameras and access control systems for physical security, while training the user to be able to operate the system on his on.  This additional human oversight helps to create a new layer of security and understanding of the system purchased. Additionally, technology such as remote monitoring and virtual assistance can provide added safety measures while still maintaining a personalized, human touch for customers.
